The Aviation Institute of Maintenance's Charlotte campus at 7421 E. Independence Boulevard offers the Aviation Maintenance Technician certificate, the Professional Aviation Maintenance Certification, and an Industrial Manufacturing Technician diploma, with day and evening classes. The 51,000-square-foot campus has 17 classrooms and an aircraft hangar housing seven aircraft, including a Learjet and a helicopter, and runs dual-credit programs with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and Union County Public Schools.
