Helena College's Aviation Maintenance Technology program trains in a hangar at the edge of Helena Regional Airport and prepares graduates for the FAA tests for the Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic license, offered as an Associate of Applied Science. Graduates work at fixed base operations, repair stations, commuter airlines, air cargo, aircraft restoration, flight schools, and aerial firefighting, or continue toward aerospace engineering.
