The University of Maine at Augusta added an Aviation Maintenance Technician School in 2024 at its Brunswick location, training students to work on general aviation aircraft, airliners, and helicopters. It joins UMA's Bachelor of Science in Aviation, launched in 2013 with Maine Instrument Flight, and the remote pilot program started in 2017.
