Responsible for performing Functional Test Procedure (FTP), Pre & Post Flight inspection prepare built aircraft for test flight and delivery readiness. This includes operating, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and inspecting aircraft systems using approved aircraft data. Proficiently operate and understand a wide variety of test equipment and tooling. Must be able to interpret technical manuals, drawing and engineering data to support tasks. Complete assigned tasks within the allocated man-hour budget and meet the guidelines of safety regulations, on quality and on cost. Opened at the Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley in 2015, the facility produces A320 Family aircraft and added a second product line for the A220 in 2019. Your challenges: Primary Responsibilities: 70% Perform aircraft system Functional Test Procedure Test (FTP) / Pre /Post flight Daily Inspection (DI) check list/ prepare built aircraft for test flight readiness. Ability to learn new tasks and techniques in trouble shoot aircraft systems and support Flightline operation at Airbus FAL Mobile Flight line Organization. Ability to perform and follow level 1 troubleshooting procedure and report / document findings precisely IAW recommended instruction. This includes performance of integrated systems testing, calibration, alignment, troubleshooting and repair of airborne electronic flight control, navigational and heating systems. Performs pretest, operational (functional) or final testing of electronic systems, components or subassemblies.
